Automata Pluto was produced for a solo exhibition in Chaos gallery in Belgrade. The idea for the work came about when thinking of possible alternatives to a live performative drawing work that was not possible to deliver in the gallery space.
From there, the perpetual drawing installation became a stand-alone piece referencing artist’s contemplations of a loss of a sibling at an early age, dissolution of the artist’s country at his teens and interest in hybrid existences that transcend death.
Cyclical movements and the sound of charcoal on board draw in the audience.
